Perhaps you have received a message along the lines stating the following: "unable to download the content due to network issues" when opening Visual Studio Installer.

The simple solution to fix this is to go to visual studios website and download the latest version.

This will resolve.

Root Cause: Not staying up to date on your versions of Visual Studio.

Note: Do not modify the dotenv config file/s unless you know what your doing, and its not necessary even if you knew what you were doing. There's a few article out there saying to touch that config file, and I would say in earlier versions but no need to now.
